13" Latama styled "square button" stiletto switchblade. From
a limited run of 10 serialized knives produced back in 2004,
these are the original 2 proto-types from that series and were
built as my own 2 personal knives.
Both are picklocks and stamped "BURN" and "Proto" on the
insides of the liners. 440c hollow ground blades, one proto
has square type ground edges, the other has swept edges.
Solid nickel silver bolsters, one has flat styled guards, the
other has round styled guards. Both are scaled in vintage
styled black & white cow horn. Nickel silver flush mount pins
and nickel silver square buttons and safeties. All hardware has
been mirror polished. These are the last of the vintage antique
styled square buttons. These 2 proto-types shown were
patterned and built closely to the original styled Latama
